I sort of like working as a receptionist, I must say. You get to sit all day, in the air conditioning, and read the New York Times. For pay. And occasionally get yelled at by dudes threatening legal action.

Yes. Very similar to my love of the help desk (although I'm not a huge fan of air conditioning)

Well, I work pretty much every day but Saturday (orz), but I'm taking a week of vacation from July 17th all the way through the 25th.

Are you still coming in for Otakon? (17th-19th?) There's still room at the hotel for you, Christ dammit. DO IT.

Well, I'll be leaving right AFTER Otakon to go to the beach, so that's about the only time I can think of, unfortunately... D:

Next vacation isn't until October, orz. But I'm not doing anything for that entire week, so... Get back to me?

The hotel we're supposed to be staying at, BTW, for Otakon is the Sheraton City Center. I think it's like two blocks away from the center. I intend to drink heavily at all times lol. And Otakon pre-reg is over in, like...two days. JUST SAYING.

Anyway, is this still...on? Did you ever get your time off (hopefully without having to cut your coworker)? Anyway, the basic specs are still the same: I'll be leaving early Friday morning, possibly taking the light rail, and I'll be heading back early Sunday morning. SHIT WILL BE CASH, YO. And one of them is going to a concert that day, so, legit, but the other one, OH THE OTHER ONE, I swear she is doing this out of spite.
