GOD, FUCK, PUSHING DAISIES. I LOVE YOU SO EFFING MUCH I FEEL LIKE I'M ABOUT TO COLLAPSE INWARD.



I love you. I love that you're always willing to take the piss out of yourself and your sentimentality. I love that you acknowledge Ned's stalkery tendencies, where another show would have decided that it's true love forever. I love your unusual direction. I love your unusual writing. I love your deep affection for all these characters. I love your deep affection for puns. I love Emerson Cod. God I love Emerson Cod.

The shirtless scene was nice too.

Anyway. IF NOTHING ELSE, this season, it is absolutely, absolutely imperative that we have a Li'l Gumshoe/Emerson reunion. I don't know why, but that quiet ending-sequence reveal of why, exactly, he's starting to do these pop-up books had me tearing up a bit. Well, the ending sequence as a whole did that, I suppose. But, regardless, it's necessary.

I literally am dying to see what happens with Emerson's daughter. DYING. But the anticipation is good, it is!

I can't believe each season is only going to be 9 episodes. I want so much more, but I suppose it's better this way, it's easier to appreciate something when there's less of it, not that Pushing Daisies doesn't already have my full appreciation for simply existing and being awesome.

How much does this show make you want to eat pie??? I mean really???

OH MY GOD LAST NIGHT'S EPISODE. ♥ I'm interested in all the plotlines, of course, but I too am absolutely dying to find out about Emerson. God, I just want to hug him so much. ;~;

So Emerson's daughter and wife left him and he hasn't been able to find them... AW. HISTORY.
